The outdoor space of our charming cottage
You’ll want to spend all day in the garden enjoying the pool and terrace and playing “pétanque”!
From the beginning we realized how important it is to have an ample and well equipped outdoor space in order to comfortably enjoy the summers in the Normandy countryside.
Our sunny tree lined garden, located on the edge of the woods, is fully enclosed and private.
Our diverse choice of trees and shrubs in the garden allows you to enjoy our very green nature in spring and summer and superb orange colors when autumn arrives. Our garden also comes with a very Normand apple orchard.
A 1000 square foot light stone terrace facing south-west is bathed in sunshine until sunset.
You’ll find comfortable garden furniture with cushions and umbrellas for long naps, a dining area
with two tables and a barbecue-plancha for fun, low key dining.
Our 130×50 3 meter deep pool is heated from the end of May to September (or longer if the temperatures allow it).
The swimming pool is located below the house, for even more privacy and tranquility.
Although it meets local security regulations-fence, gate, roller shutter, we ask you never to leave children
without adult supervision and to close the pool cover and gate with a key when you are done using it.
“Petanque” a very French game from the South is a time of sharing, laughs, showing off talent, and endless aperitifs!
The cottage has a pétanque court that you can use almost all year round. We supply all the needed equipment and playing rules.
Don’t forget to set the rules of the game well before you start playing or they’ll be endless friendly discussions.
